Description
Suitable for beginners
When: Saturday 14th October 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm
Where: At Alma Terra Pottery Studio in Myrtleford, VIC
In this workshop you will learn how to make a couple of photo frames for your wall so you can display that special picture or perhaps that nice little print you bought from an artist. I will show you how to construct your piece and the necessary attachments you will need to make of this piece something very special. This could also be an opportunity to make them as a Christmas present.
We will be using ceramic paints to decorate these pieces if you are after a bright and colourful vibe. Your ceramics will be glazed by your tutor with a clear glaze, but if you like a neutral colour we can also apply a white glaze.
These sessions are tailored for small groups, they are friendly and in a safe relaxing environment. They are suitable for beginners or for people with some experience.
Once the pieces are completely fired and finished, a local pick up will be arranged in about 4 weeks after the workshop. If shipping is required, you will need to organize that with your tutor.
This session includes snacks and refreshments, all materials and tutoring are included, please bring an apron and a hand towel for the session.
7 days prior the workshop I will contact you with further details, please check your spam folder.
While I do prefer payment to be made prior to the event, I understand that you may prefer to pay cash on the day. I’m happy to offer this option as a gesture of goodwill, but I kindly ask for your commitment to attend.
As spaces are limited, cancelling the day before—or even a few hours before the event—may mean I’m unable to fill your spot, and someone else may miss out on the opportunity to participate.
Disclaimer: Your pottery will be fully glazed with a food safe glaze, however Alma Terra Pottery will do its best to care for your creation but takes no responsibility for the function or durability of your piece, nor any faults that could cause a safety hazard. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you acknowledge and take full responsibility for your own pottery piece and use your finished ceramics at your own discretion.
