Please bear with me.

Well what a year this has been, I can't thank you all enough for sharing, likes, follows and unfollows and helping me in one way or another to grow and support my creative practice.

This year has been a difficult one especially for little businesses and in particular the creative ones. I can say I have navigated a tricky cycle but a very rewarding one. I have been able to take on some new opportunities, being present at some different markets (thank you organizers for give me an opportunity) , putting myself out there and meeting some amazing people along the way.

This has allowed me to keep improving and growing my passion for this world of clay (which is a challenge itself).

I can't thank enough to all the customers who have purchased from me, from the spoon to the biggest pieces!, or attending my workshops. Without the financial support I couldn't be where I am. 🫶

In the last week I have shared on my stories what has been happening in the background, and I am so immensely grateful for achieving what I have been dreaming for a few years, my new studio. 🙌🙌

Early this year I committed to have it done, because I was fed up with not being able to work in a comfortable manner, hot summer days, freezing cold winter days in my little shed. I got laser focus on getting this new space!!!.

Yesterday the building was done (I still need to finish the inside though), the feeling was like getting to the finish line after running a marathon, falling on my knees, It is DONE!!!.

I am still looking at my new space and pinching myself, I cannot wait to move in and be able to work all year around.

I just wanted to share this with you all because your support has translated to this, and I cannot take it for granted. I need you to know that every time you support a small business you are making a real difference in someone's life.

It is tricky gifting to a person who we feel doesn't really need anything, or may not like what we have chosen. (Yes we have all been there).
In fact after Xmas day, millions of dollars worth of goods are returned and exchanged at stores!. Or sold on marketplace as unwanted gift 🥴.

Gifting experiences are a great option, it also takes the pressure off you thinking that person may not like what you bought.

I have listed vouchers online and with different price points for upcoming workshops in 2025. I will be publishing the calendar of events in February so the recipient can choose in advance which one to attend!.

Late notice!!! Well yesterday's market ended up w

Late notice!!!

Well yesterday's market ended up with a crazy storm, raining buckets!!! My gazebo flew over which left me packing under the elements and getting totally wet, like TOTALLY!!!.
My stock got all wet but that was an easy fix. All my props were soaked, tablecloths to wash and my car of course got all wet inside while trying to pack under the panic.
I am so thankful for my stall neighbor and a lovely family, maybe two, who helped me to pack getting also completely wet and getting my broken gazebo out of the way.
So I had to cancel my attendance to Beechworth market today 🤷, sorry people but I was exhausted by the end of my day and with no gazebo....I am not willing to get wet again.

Off to buy a new gazebo now and get ready for the next markets I suppose. 💩 Happens and on the bright side I'll buy a better and lighter one because the one I had was a pain 😆.

And the most beautiful time of the year is nearly here.

I have my boxes packed and my shelves have lovely stock ready to fill my tables at the upcoming markets.

I never know what people are going to be drawn towards, my job is just to make beautiful things to adorn your home and your beloved family members and friends'spaces, hoping they are going to be well received and treasured this Christmas season.
In advance I am so thankful for your support, it has been a challenging year but probably the most rewarding, full of ups and downs as every small biz out there. But, we keep standing, creating and serving our customers in the best way we can.

This Sunday I'll be at @riverandwrenmarket , I think it is going to be epic and I am so looking forward to joining the line up of the most special markets of the year.

Do you have a young artist in the family?. This is the cutest paint palette you could give as a gift. They are great for mixing small amounts of paint, and the best is, you can just put it in your pocket 😁.

They will be available at this weekend markets, Friday in Bright, Saturday in Beechworth (weather permitting) and @riverandwrenmarket on Sunday.

Please don't wait until the last minute to tackle your pressies list. I have been contacted a few times in regards to some products which have been available online but sold out at markets by now. At this time of the year the demand is high and production is limited, I am a one solo wear many hats artist, and I can only make a limited amount of ceramics.

If you have an eye on something that is available online, think no more, I only have a limited amount of each product or in some cases they are one offs. You can enjoy flat rate shipping in my store.
Don't say I didn't warn you 😉😁🌷.

Who is feeling Christmassy?

I do ! 😂 I have been making ornaments since perhaps August 🤦. The truth is that these small pieces always demand a lot of time, just like anything small. Some are fidgety and lots of corners to tidy up. As you can see there are a few details on each, and my hands usually feel numb at the end of a session. Not to mention all the ones I lost during the process and I have to replace them, brush glazing and so on. That's why I start early so I don't end up grumpy 😊.
Anyhow, I have a nice bunch of them ready to be up for grabs, starting this Friday evening at Quercus twilight market in Beechworth and then off to Yackandandah Xmas market on Sunday. I really hope the weather stays dry during those hours 🤞🤞🤞.

I have been busy creating these Christmas ornaments.

Like the good old times when we used to have breakable Xmas ornaments only. I remember opening our Xmas box once a year and getting all our well treasured goodies. I used to handle everything so carefully with my mum, at times things got broken and losing that special ornament was devastating. It all finished when the good old plastic came along right! 🤦. .
Well, making these took me right back when I was a kid, spending an entire afternoon decorating the tree with my mum. I enjoyed making them a lot!!!

I have been a lil busy lately preparing for the next markets, but I have also been experimenting with slip casting.
I bought a heap of them at a sale before they were going to landfill and I managed to turn some simple shape molds like this soap dispenser into a fun flower vase. The idea is to reuse them in different ways and get creative ! 😀🌷

Something a bit special to me, a piece I made insp

Something a bit special to me, a piece I made inspired in the winter season.
The burnt gums from past fires, the vegetation growing amongst the boulders, the textures. I am probably not doing enough justice to this beautiful environment I am surrounded by, but I often find myself just day dreaming about these mountains.
It is fair to say, I love winter, the cold doesn't really bother me, in fact it is invigorating, and the snowy gums when driving up to the mountain are just beautiful.

If you are lucky to ever wander up in the Australian Alps, you will see how special this environment is 💙❄️ 🌨️.

I have mentioned in the past that I find inspiration in vintage things, I love mid century EVERYTHING!!!. Many people have told me "oh my mum had something similar to this".
I love old things with character 😊.
