I create these mugs using a slab building technique. Every single piece is handcut and joined to form a conical shape. These mugs are made in a natural colour stoneware clay body. The surface of the mug has been drawn and handcarved followed by dipping in a food safe glaze with a glossy finish.
These mugs are part of a floral collection inspired in midcentury pattern designs
The mug’s volume capacity is 450 ml and measures 9.5 cm (H) x 8 cm (diameter) at top 10 cm base.
Materials: all work is made with a cone 10 stoneware. They are handcarved and handpainted utilising food safe glazes.
