This bowl was handcrafted using mold press technique in a mid firing warm colour stoneware clay. The bowl has a rustic and organic feel, with a floral carving inside inspired in Mid Century botanical art. A bold drawing that will be the talking of your table. On the outside, the edge is decorated with a scallop carved design. The entire bowl has been glazed inside with white glaze which makes it ideal for serving salads. Some areas of the outside have been left unglazed to add to the texture of the whole piece. The size of this bowl is ideal for small salads, I use this size for my Cous Cous, quinoa or rice salads or if you are a small family.

This piece was made with cone 6 stoneware. They are hand carved, hand painted utilising food safe glazes,underglazes and engobes.
Sustainability: Alma Terra products are ethically made by me in my backyard studio, I care about the environment and the footprint on earth, I only use Australian raw materials and products instead of flying them form different parts of the world, I support Australian businesses only. I recycle and reuse water from the studio to water the veggie garden right outside my creative space. Every left over of clay is recycled until I collect a sufficient amount to make more ceramic pieces. The kiln is run on solar power to fire my work to minimise the demand from electricity.
I use new and repurposed cardboard boxes and recyclable and biodegradable packing materials only.
All my ceramics are handmade and distinctively unique. Alma Terra ceramics are produced with passion and devotion in North East Victoria.
