House Pencil Holder

Unique pencil holders…or perhaps a vase? to brighten up the working space.

I love making unique pieces that are used in multiple ways, and i think this pencil holder will also make a cute vase!.

They are made using a slab building technique, so there is lots of cutting flat shapes and assembling them together. These pieces are made with a white  clay body fired at midfire temperatures. The decoration techniques are done with sgrafitto, mishima and ceramic decals.
I enjoy decorating surfaces and I like to create fun designs even when the pieces are a neutral palette. These pencil holders will fit a lot of pencils and stationery. It is a lovely piece to brighten the usually most boring corner of the house, the office.

Measurements: 13.5 cm (H) x 10 cm (W) x 7 cm (D)

All work is made with cone 10 stoneware. They are handcarved, handpainted utilising food safe glazes and underglazes.
