Milk Jugs

Description

These cute milk jugs are a colourful and fun addition to your tableware.

These pieces  were handmade  made using a slab building technique. Every single piece is hand cut and joined to form a cylindrical shape. These jugs have been decorated with fun and simple designs, only one of each.

They can be used for sauces, milk or even for little flower vases to decorate small spaces. I use mines for all sorts of things!.

The jug’s volume capacity is 170 ml approx.

and measures 9.5 cm (H) x 6 cm (Diameter).

This  work is made with a cone 6 stoneware. They are hand carved and hand painted utilising food safe glazes.

All my ceramics are distinctively unique. Some imperfections will be shown due to the nature of handmade goods.

Sustainability: Alma Terra products are ethically made by me in my backyard studio, I care about the environment and the footprint on earth, I only use Australian raw materials and products instead of flying them form different parts of the world, I support Australian businesses only.  I recycle and reuse water from the studio to water the veggie garden right outside my creative space. Every left over of clay is recycled until I collect a sufficient amount to make more ceramic pieces.  The kiln is run on solar power to fire my work to minimise the demand from electricity.

I use new and repurposed cardboard boxes and recyclable and biodegradable packing materials only.
