Fun Jugs ideal for pouring syrups, gravy or cream on those winter delicious foods.
These jugs are made with slabs making techniques and individually decorated with underglazes and slips. The designs are hand drawn, painted and carved, they inspired in Mid Century patterns, usually I take inspiration from old fabrics, wall papers and other contemporary surface design artist. In this case it was enamelware from Catherine Holm back in the 60’s.
The use of bold colour is a signature in my work, I love playing with bright and happy tones, to me the use of colour brings joy to a home and that is what I love to share with you all.

All work is made with cone 6 stoneware. They are hand carved, hand painted utilising food safe glazes and underglazes. All my ceramics are distinctively unique.
Sustainability: Alma Terra products are ethically made by me in my backyard studio, I care about the environment and the footprint on earth, I only use Australian raw materials and products instead of flying them form different parts of the world, I support Australian businesses only. I recycle and reuse water from the studio to water the veggie garden right outside my creative space. Every left over of clay is recycled until I collect a sufficient amount to make more ceramic pieces. The kiln is run on solar power to fire my work to minimise the demand from electricity.
I use new and repurposed cardboard boxes and recyclable and biodegradable packing materials only.
